A new way to watch New York sports.
The show built for how New York actually reacts.
Welcome, and thanks for being here on day one.
For a long time, sports media lived in silos: radio was radio, TV was TV, and each one waited its turn to react to what just happened on the field.
But fans don’t experience a game in silos. They experience it all at once, reacting in real time, texting their groupchat and sending clips around before the broadcast even cuts to commercial. The fans have moved on, so it’s time the medium caught up.
That’s what The Sal Licata Show is built to do. This isn’t radio with a camera pointed at it, and it isn’t a highlight show chopped into clips. This will be live reaction, real analysis, and unfiltered opinion, all in one place, built for the way fans actually watch the game today. Twenty years in this city taught me what New York fans want out of a show: honesty, energy, and someone who takes it as personally as they do.
I’m excited to finally build that in a format that matches the moment instead of working against it.
Full episodes will be live in this feed and you can find them on YouTube, too. Thanks again for being here — let’s get into it.
